Andrew "Hippie" Burns

Andrew “Hippie” Burns, 75, of Port Orange FL, formerly from Ramsey NJ passed away peacefully on May 7th, 2023. Loving husband, father, stepfather and Pop-pop, he is survived by his wife Barbara Burns, son Matthew Burns, Tracy Burns (wife of Matthew), grand-daughter Anastasia Burns, and stepsons Damian Guimond and Preston Perkins. Andy was a gentle soul with a big heart and no matter where you went or who you spoke to, someone always knew “Hippie.”  He enjoyed riding with the CLMC, loving his family and keeping in contact with all of the many friends that he had.  His legacy will live on in all of those whose lives he touched.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 from 3 - 7 PM at Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey, NJ. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 11:30 AM at Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, NY.
