Ann T. (Hotz) Maus

Ann Maus (nee Hotz), 95, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2025.  Ann was married to the late F. Gerard (Jerry) Maus for 39 years.  She was the daughter of the late George and Margaret Hotz, sister of the late Margaret Hotz, and the mother of three children William (Christi Scarpino), David (Rosa), and Nancy (Michael Morvillo).  Ann was the loving grandmother of Rachel Maus, Christopher, Brian, and Matthew Morvillo.

Ann grew up in Clifton, NJ and was a member of Clifton HS, Class of 1946.  She helped organize a number of class reunions. 

A lifelong resident of Allendale and Mahwah, NJ, Ann worked as the secretary for the Child Study Team at Brookside Elementary School in Allendale, was an active parishioner at the Guardian Angel Church, and served as an election worker for many years.  She was also a member of the Allendale Board of Health, including a term as Board President.  Ann also volunteered at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025 at Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey, NJ from 4-8 PM.  A funeral mass will be celebrated at the Guardian Angel Church, 320 Franklin Turnpike, Allendale, NJ on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 10 AM.  Interment will be private at a later date after cremation.
