Anna Francesca Reganato (née LaVigna), 37, longtime resident of Ramsey, NJ, was suddenly called home to the Lord on June 2, 2021 in the midst of her three-year battle with lymphoma. Affectionately known as Frankie, she was a fighter and courageous until the end.
Frankie was born on August 4, 1983 in Pequannock Township and moved to Ramsey in 1989. She attended Ramsey High School, where she was a varsity track and cross-country runner and well-accomplished student. After graduating from The College of New Jersey with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Education, she worked for 15 years as a fun-loving, passionate, and energetic elementary school teacher in the Morristown and Ramsey school districts. A runner for life, she completed marathons in New Orleans and New York City. She loved to laugh and could light up a room with her infectious smile and sparkling eyes. She married her high school sweetheart, Anthony, in 2013 and started their family in Ramsey. A true giver with a beautiful spirit, she was rarely seen without a loved one nearby or a baby in her arms. Above all, Frankie cherished her family and nothing in this world mattered more to her than making her children happy. Frankie will be fondly remembered for her caring nature and unwavering faith.
She is predeceased by her mother, Jo Ann; her sister, Margo, and survived by her beloved husband, Anthony; sons Anthony Rocco and Gianni Francis; father Frank; stepmother Mary; father-in-law Peter; mother-in-law Patricia; siblings Michael, Lori, Louis, James and Zachary; sister-in-law Melissa; brother-in-law Joseph; twelve nieces and nephews; and supportive extended family.
Family and friends are invited to pay tribute to Frankie on Tuesday, June 8, from 2 to 8 PM at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 200 Wyckoff Ave, Ramsey, NJ. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, June 9, at 10 AM, also at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. The funeral mass will be live-streamed. Please click here to live-stream the mass. Interment will immediately follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah. Arrangements are being handled by Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, Ramsey.
