Anne Gale was born to the late William and Anne Sands (Fahey) in Bergenfield, NJ on June 16, 1939, and grew up with her two younger siblings William and Mary. Anne was happily married to her late husband, James P. Feehan, for 56 loving years. While a fabulous homemaker for much of her life, Anne started out working for the telephone company and in her later years worked as a bank teller and a secretary for a few local companies. Anne and Jim loved to travel, fortunate to see many areas of the world. They were also impressive on the dance floor. Anne was a devout Catholic and a long-time active member of the Immaculate Conception community. Anne enjoyed gardening, working on home improvement projects, spending time with the family, and shopping. Boy did she love to shop!
Anne is survived by her 6 children; James Jr. and his wife Trina, Anne Marie and her husband Kevin, Timothy and his wife Patricia, Stephen and his wife Kathryn, Patrick and his wife Martha, John, her brother William Sands and his wife Nancy, sister Mary Sands Gannon and her husband Sean, and her 15 grandchildren; Timothy, Francis, Thomas, Kerri, Kelly, Michael, Meghan, James III, Mikayala, Daniel, Colleen, Patrick, Stephen, Matthew, and Eirica, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Anne was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, always putting the needs and happiness of her family first. Though Anne could busy her time with small projects, you could be sure if a grandchild had a game, recital, or special event, Anne would jump at the chance to be there. Anne’s consistent presence was a testament to a life filled with love and devotion to family.
