Anthony James Longo

Anthony James Longo, 89, of Mahwah, formerly of Saddle River passed away peacefully on February 3, 2024. Born in Bronx, NY, son of Gaspare and Amelia (Monisera) Longo, brother of Carol Catanzarite of Galloway, NJ. Anthony graduated from Lyndhurst HS then enlisted in the US Navy where he served his country proudly before his employment as a draftsman at Bendix Corp. Anthony married the love of his life, Patricia, in 1959. Together they raised their 3 daughters while creating a successful Tupperware business until their retirement. Anthony is survived by his loving wife Patricia of 64 years and their daughters: Debra Madonna and her husband Joseph of Mahwah, Linda Longo of New Milford, and Lesley McGovern and her husband Harold of Warwick, RI as well as 6 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 4 PM – 7 PM at Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 10 AM at St. Paul R.C. Church in Ramsey. Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah.
