Aris Andrew Economides

Aris Economides, age 62 of Ridgefield Park, died peacefully at home on May 13th 2024. He was born in Westwood NJ, was a graduate of Ramapo High School, and has degrees from Rutgers University and the University of Texas San Antonio. Aris had been a resident of Ridgefield Park for 30 years and was a parishioner of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. A lifelong New Jersey resident, Aris enjoyed taking long walks at the Ramapo Reservation. Aris also enjoyed reading the Bible, listening to music, and attending concerts. Aris is survived by his loving siblings; Ellen E. Bellairs and her husband Al Wagner of Little Canada, MN, Chris A. Economides and his wife, Aida of Warren, NJ, and John A. Economides of Mahwah, NJ. Left to carry on Aris’ legacy are his seven nieces and nephews; Joseph, Matthew, Anastasia, Nicole, Andrew C., Malcolm and Andrew J. The family will receive friends on Friday May 17th from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 467 Grandview Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ 07481. The Funeral Service will be held directly following the reception at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Wyckoff Reformed Church Cemetery, Wyckoff, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.
