Barbara A. (Berish) Straut

Barbara A. Straut (nee Berish), 85, on December 20, 2023 of Mahwah. Beloved wife of the late James Straut. Loving mother of James M. Straut and wife Patricia, Susan M. Duarte and Michael Straut. Cherished grandmother of Samuel Duarte. Dear sister of Bernard Berish and the late Marilyn Berish and Richard Berish. Barbara loved going to LBI and spending time on the beach. She enjoyed the support and friendship of her neighbors. She loved being a housewife and mother and loved raising them in Mahwah. 

Visitation will be held on Friday from 2 - 4 PM & 7 - 9 PM at Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 10 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary R.C. Church in Mahwah. Interment will follow at Mahwah Cemetery in Mahwah. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Barbara to St. Jude Children's Research Hosptial, stjude.org.
