Boris R. Matson

Boris R. Matson, 91, died peacefully on October 20, 2023 of Ramsey, NJ. Boris was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and went on to become a gifted mason. Boris was a bricklayer - stone mason and later specialized in glass block installation. After retirement he enjoyed creating fireplace and wishing well lamps. He loved his friends and family and loved telling everyone life stories. 

Boris is predeceased by his beloved wife Eva, loving son Timothy, cherished brother David and longtime love Leona Malmberg. He is survived by his loving daughter Tina Lanning (Thomas), treasured grandsons Timothy Hare (Dawn), Thomas Matson Lanning, adored nieces Lynda Wiley (Al), Lora Winchell (Don) and the Malmberg family who had such a special place in his heart. 

We will miss him dearly. A celebration of life will be announced in the future.
