Brian "Bubba" Straut

Brian "Bubba" Straut, 55, on July 3, 2026 of Boonton, NJ formerly of Mahwah passed away with family by his side. Dear brother of Stacey and husband David Baez. Cherished uncle of Matthew and Mackenzie Baez. Beloved son of the late Linda and George Straut. Brian served in many roles throughout his lifetime. He was a member of the Mahwah Fire Department including Fire Captain of Mahwah Company 1 and President of Company 4, worked in sales for Liberty Subaru and Kanebridge Corporation and was the Vice President of the Resident's Council at the New Jersey State Firemen's Home. He loved sports including Nascar, WWE, Baseball, Football and Hockey. Cremation was private.
