Carmine Coviello, 73 of Suffern, NY passed peacefully on Monday, September 29, 2025.
Carmine was born in New York City to Carmine C. Coviello, Sr. and Concetta Chiantella on March 21, 1952. He is survived by his beloved wife and high school sweetheart of 49 years Carole McEntee and cherished daughter Kristen. He is also survived by his siblings Frank and Arlene, Caroline and Stan and Daniel as well as in-laws Susan and Robert, Nancy and Mark and James; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and so many good friends and neighbors.
Carmine, who went by “Chuck” to everyone grew up in Bronx and was a lifelong Yankee fan. Chuck loved fishing, Shelby Mustangs, caring for his home, spending time with friends and family and always sharing a joke. Chuck was a pet lover and will be missed by his furry friends Zoey and Lily Rose.
Chuck’s very name brought smiles to the faces of all who knew him. He chose to bring joy to everyone he encountered, from those who knew him on a daily basis to those he just met. He was a trusted Handyman who offered his all to the countless people he served.
Visitation will be held at Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home in Ramsey, NJ on Thursday, October 2, 2025, between 3PM and 7PM. A funeral Mass of Remembrance of Carmines' life will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church in Mahwah, NJ at 11 AM on Friday, October 3, 2025. Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah, NJ.
