Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Carol Miccinilli of Mahwah, NJ, lovingly called Sissy, and to many Mrs. Mitch, passed away peacefully at home on July 13, 2024, at the age of 81 surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Paolino Miccinilli and her children, Lisa, Gina and Paul, her grandchildren, Jessica, Chelsea, Hannah, Kyle, Antonio & Marco, as well as her great-grandchildren Dawson, Miles, Porter, and Chase. Her legacy extends beyond her family through the thousands of students whose lives she touched over her 26-year teaching career at Ramsey High School. Her passion for teaching was forever evident throughout her life, resulting in a book she wrote, “Unfinished People”, that chronicled all that her students taught her. Arrangements are under the care of the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, www.vanemburghsneider.com, 109 Darlington Ave., Ramsey, NJ. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 18 at 1-4pm & 6-9pm with a memorial service on Friday, July 19 at 10:00am. Entombment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park Paramus, NJ.
