RAMSEY- Charles C. Zoccoli, 88, died on May 27, 2021, peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Frances (nee Cariddi) for 65 years, both formerly of Hackensack. Loving father to four daughters, Kathy Dandeneau of Clifton, Maria (Donald) Hoyt of Ramsey, Susan (Ken) Mayers of Franklin Lakes and Therese (Joseph) Farrell of Daniels Island, SC. Cherished grandfather of Charlie, Janelle, Ariane, Stephanie, Juliet, Tina, Matthew, James, Jacqueline, Joey and Lisa, and 6 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Josephine (Michael) Mellone and Angela Mariniello. Charlie was born to James and Catherine Zoccoli of Hackensack. He served in the US Army from 1956-1958. Together with his father, they established Concrete Construction Corporation. Charlie had a heart bigger than himself and shared his success with family, relatives, friends and strangers alike. He created many countless memories of good times through his generosity and contributed to countless charities. He spent many years with family and friends in Seabrook Island, SC, and Roxbury, NY. Charlie put God and his religion first and foremost and his family was the center of his life. He was an avid golfer and a member of White Beeches Country Club in Haworth. He was a lifelong NY Giants fan. Charlie had a large presence in a quiet, humble way wherever he was.
Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 4-8 PM at Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 11:30 AM at St. Paul RC Church, 200 Wyckoff Ave, Ramsey.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Charlie's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Wounded Warrior Project.
