Charles had a career as a "Scientific Programming Specialist" - a computer programmer specializing in top secret clearance military applications. He worked for a variety of companies spending most of his career working for Lockheed Martin Marietta. He did not talk much about what he did because of the secret nature of his work. We do know that he programmed Atlas ICMbs, communication satellites for the U.S.A. - D.O.D., C.I.A. and one for the U.S. Navy. He programmed/adapted a test cart to fit and test multiple nuclear warheads at Picatinny Arsenal. Charlie was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend who touched the lives of so many people. Dad was one of the smartest people I've met. He could carry an informed conversation on any topic. He dedicated his life to loving and caring for his wife Deloris. We miss him.
He is survived by his loving wife Deloris, children Jane Zuroff and her husband Mike Scalione of Ramsey, son Pete Zuroff, grandchildren Helen Emond and her husband Jay of Teaneck, John Zuroff of Haledon, and 2 great grandchildren, Lukas and Mason Emond.
