Dalla Rae (Mieseler) Webb

The family of Dalla Rae Webb of Franklin Lakes, NJ is saddened to announce her passing on March 15, 2022 at the age of 81 years. Dalla was a beloved wife, mother,  Grammy, GG, and friend. Dalla was born January 20, 1941 to Harry and Dolores Mieseler and grew up in Chaska, MN with her two brothers, Gary and Darrell.  Dalla graduated from St. Catherine’s in St. Paul, MN and became a Registered Nurse in 1962.  While attending St. Kate’s she met her adoring husband, Patrick L. Webb.  In 1963 the two married and soon after started a family in Burnsville, MN.  The young family moved to Massachusetts, then to Connecticut, and eventually put down their roots in Ramsey, NJ in 1974.  Ramsey is where they raised two sons, Michael and David, and three daughters, Colleen, Kathy, and Maureen.

Dalla took tremendous pride in being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, known to her grandkids and many others as "Grammy". Time spent with family and friends was very special to her. She dedicated her life giving to and caring for so many people. For over forty years, she worked as a full-time registered nurse in the same pediatric practice. While the physicians changed throughout the years, Grammy was the one constant that kept patients coming back. It was a rarity to leave the house and not meet someone from the practice. Each patient’s story may have varied, but the meaning that came through was always the same. She deeply touched many lives with the passion and devotion she gave her patients and their parents for over four decades.

When she wasn’t at the pediatrician’s office or taking care of her family, Grammy could be found baking, hanging wallpaper, sewing, reupholstering furniture, playing cards, walking, or working in her yard. Those closest to her have always joked that she is the true Energizer Bunny/Wonder Woman… sitting idle was not in her DNA!

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Patrick L. Webb, her parents Dolores and Harry Mieseler, and her brother Gary Mieseler. She is survived by her children, Michael (and Meg) Webb, Colleen (and Lee) Jenkins, David Webb, Kathy (and James) Toy, and Maureen (and Kevin) Stockdale, and her eleven grandchildren (Katie, Lauren, Carley, Chelsea, Andrew, Alyssa, Megan, Luke, Dylan, Riley and Maddie), two great grandchildren (Oaklynn and Karter) and brother Darrell Mieseler. 

Family and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Dalla on Sunday, March 20, 2022 from 4 - 8 PM at Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey, NJ.  A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 21, 2022 at 10:30 AM at St. Paul R.C. Church, 200 Wyckoff Avenue, Ramsey, NJ. Cremation will be private.

In lieu of flowers, Dalla requested that memorial donations be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at http://StJude.org.
