Daniel J. Mech

Daniel John Mech, 58, died peacefully at his home on June 17th, in Mahwah, New Jersey. Formerly of Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, and Chicago, Illinois. Beloved husband of twenty years to Heidi Gene Mech (nee DeVries) of Midland Park, New Jersey, and stepfather to Christopher Tashik. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Richard Stanley and Ann Bernadette Mech (nee Phelan). Loving brother to Ann B. O’Connor (Hugh) (decd), James R. Mech (decd), Theresa M. Mech, Richard S. Mech, Jr. (Kathleen), Eileen M. Mech (decd), Marilyn L. Broderick (John), Robert J. Mech (Lori), Patricia S. Hegel (Mark), Michael T. Mech (decd), Mary Ellen Ecker (Ray), and William D. Mech (Patricia). Adoring uncle to twenty nieces and nephews and twenty-four grand nieces and nephews.

Friends will be welcomed Tuesday, June 20th from 2:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Avenue, Ramsey, NJ, 201.327.0030. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, June 21st at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception RC Church, 900 Darlington Avenue, Mahwah, NJ. Burial will be immediately following funeral services at Maryrest Cemetery, 770 Darlington Avenue, Mahwah, NJ.
