David Linfante

David Linfante, 96, of Mahwah passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 25, 2023.  David was born to Leonilda (Lena) and Enrico (Henry) Linfante on New Years Day 1927 in Newark, NJ.  David attended Rutgers University and was employed as a Senior Health Inspector for the City of Hackensack for 34 years. He was a dedicated volunteer at The Valley Hospital for many years.  David enjoyed spending summers on Italy’s Amalfi Coast with family and friends. 

David is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Marilyn Linfante, their 3 adored daughters: Lee Anne Ganley, Elizabeth Stolberg, and Laura Barrett, along with their husbands, 3 cherished granddaughters: Marisa Ganley, Daniela Ganley, and Julia Ganley, and brother Paul Linfante. He was predeceased by sister Esther Fiano. 

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2023 from 4-7 PM at Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey, NJ. Funeral services will be held privately on Monday, January 30, 2023.
