Edward Tarino Obituary

Edward G. Tarino, 93, on December 15, 2020 of Upper Saddle River, NJ. Beloved husband of 70 years to the late Veronica Tarino. Loving father of Gary, Randall and wife Lisa, Cynthia and husband Joseph Rio, and son, David. Cherished grandfather of Danielle, Robert, Michael, Genevieve, Victoria, Meghan, Frederick and Jessica. Edward was a US Navy WWII Veteran as a hospital corpsman assigned to the Marines. He spent over 35 years in the Food Industry and retired as a salesman with Hormel Foods.  He was always active in his communities and was a parishioner/usher for the Church of the Presentation in USR and previously for OLQP in Maywood. He was a member of the Saddle River Valley Lions Club, an ex-member of the Knights of Columbus, an ex-member of the Maywood Ambulance Squad and Fire Police, and little league baseball coach.  He served as an aide to a NJ assembly woman and also served on the USR Planning Board.  He was a member of the Hobbyists Unlimited and an active bocce player.

Entombment will be at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.

Arrangements are being handled by Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, Ramsey. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Edward to the Saddle River Valley Lions Club, The American Legion of New Jersey, Sloan Kettering, or the Church of the Presentation in Upper Saddle River.
