Eileen T. O'Sullivan

Eileen T. O’Sullivan (nee Herlihy), 90, on March 15, 2024 of Ramsey. Beloved wife of the late Matthew O’Sullivan. Loving mother of Eileen A. O’Sullivan, Matthew O’Sullivan and wife Jill, and Philip O’Sullivan. Cherished grandmother of Aidan and Tessa O’Sullivan. Dear sister of the late John, Kathleen, Joan and James Herlihy. Eileen loved spending time with her family and friends. She had a smile for everyone and enjoyed making people laugh, and sing. She believed strongly in volunteerism and giving back to the community she loved. Eileen put in countless hours to raise money for the Ramsey Ambulance Squad and a bench in Veterans Park through the Ramsey Women’s Club. Eileen was sweet, kind, joyful soul and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 2 - 4 PM & 7 - 9 PM at Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Avenue, Ramsey. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 10 AM at St. Paul R.C. Church in Ramsey. Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Eileen to the Alzheimer’s Association, ALZ.org.or Villa Marie Claire Hospice.
