Emilia (Mucha) Karpinecz

Emilia "Emma" Karpinecz (nee Mucha), 93, on February 16, 2025 of Mahwah. Beloved wife of 37 years to the late Stefan. Loving mother of Gabriel and his wife Ann. Dear sister of the late Magda, John, Stefan and Olga. Cherished grandmother of Matthew and wife Andrea and Andrew and wife Victoria. Adored great grandmother of Emilia, Travis and Jacob. 

Emilia worked for many years at Foxwood Diner and Steaks n' Stuff where she was famously known as Emma the waitress. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 PM - 7 PM at Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Avenue, Ramsey. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 21, 2025 at 10 AM at St. Elizabeth R.C. Church in Wyckoff. Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Emilia to the Alzheimers Association, alz.org.
