Frances Ann (Birish) Zielinski

Frances Zielinski (nee Birish), of Mahwah, NJ passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at the age of 90. Born on November 14, 1930 in Tuxedo, NY, Frances was a lifelong resident of Mahwah and parishioner of lmmaculate Heart of Mary Church. Frances is survived by her daughter Carolyn (husband Kevin Gannon) grandsons Christopher and Jeannine and Robert. Predeceased by her late husband Stanley G. (Zeke) Zielinski and son Stanley J. Zielinski. Frances was the youngest of 9 brothers and sisters, deceased; Joseph, Paul (Major) Mike, John (Gene) and George Birish, sisters Helen Guntsch, Mary Doolittle, and Susan Retz, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Frances worked for many years as a waitress in various local restaurants and diners before retiring in 2011. Frances was very passionate about her paintings, bingo, and enjoyed watching game shows. Frances was devoted to her family, prayer, and the Holy Rosary. Services will be private.
