Frank Vincent DiGennaro, of Upper Saddle River, formerly of Bergenfield passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026 at Garnet Medical Center in Middletown, NY at the age of 93.
Frank is predeceased by his loving wife, Dolores (Weigmann), his mother and father Mary and Andrew, brothers Mathew and Vincent, and long-term companion Suzanne Martini of Upper Saddle River. He is survived by his sister Emmanuela D’Angelo, nieces Karen Young of Towaco and Stephanie Duba of Bergenfield, among many other nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was the owner of DiGennaro Construction located in Mahwah, NJ and recognized throughout Bergen County as a respected builder of beautiful homes and renovations. Frank also served for many years as a valuable contributor and Board Member of Society Hill Village II at Kilmer Woods Condominium and Townhouse complex also in Mahwah, NJ.
Upon enlisting in the U.S. Navy on July 22, 1951, Frank served on the USS Cross, a training ship for New England Naval Reservists. He was honorably discharged on November 5, 1953 and a recipient of the National Defense Service Medal.
The family will receive family and friends on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 from 4-8 PM at Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey, NJ. A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday night at 7:30 PM at the funeral home. Interment will take place on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 11:00 AM at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ.
