Frank Marti

Frank “Francisco” Marti of Ramsey, NJ died peacefully and surrounded by his loving family on March 14th, 2021. Frank was born in Barcelona, Spain and had 2 children, Francisco and Jaime. Later in life, he moved to the Dominican Republic and married his wife Yanet Cordero. Together they had one son, Pablo, and moved to New Jersey to raise him. Beloved brother of Jordi, Neus and Josefina. Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. Frank started his own construction and handyman business under the name Frank The Improver. He was admired for his sense of responsibility and his duty to his craft. His professional career spanned more than 50 years from Spain, to the Dominican Republic and then the United States. He was a renaissance man, and his artistry encompassed many crafts including: architecture, visual arts, cooking, woodworking, and interior design to name a few. He is survived by his wife Yanet, sons Jaime and Pablo, two grandchildren Kiko and Nora, and his two beloved pet cats Balenciaga and Karl Rafael.
