Fredrick "Rick" Laurino

Fredrick (Rick) Laurino, originally from Huntington, New York passed away unexpectedly on February 5, 2026. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother whose life was rooted in faith, family, and quiet devotion. A man of strong Christian faith, Rick found comfort, guidance, and purpose through his relationship with God and the support of his cherished church family.

Rick dedicated much of his professional life to education and entrepreneurship. He owned and operated cosmetology and business schools, taking pride in mentoring students and helping others build meaningful careers. He believed in hard work and giving people the tools to succeed. Above all, he was deeply devoted to his wife and family and took great pride in caring for and supporting those he loved.

Rick is survived by his devoted wife, Sandy; his sons Drew and wife Kim, and their children Noah, Nick, and Sam; and his son Anthony and his husband Bill. He is also survived by his loving siblings and extended family, who will miss him dearly.

A celebration of Rick’s life will be held in the spring, with details to be shared at a later date.
