Gerard J. Ando

Gerard "Jerry" Ando, 97, on January 8, 2024 of Ramsey formerly of Westwood and Tenafly. Son of Michael and Josephine who immigrated from Sicily. He was the loving father of Scott, Marc and wife Astrid, Joelle and the late Michael. Cherished grandfather of Kymberly, Michael and Matthew. Dear brother of JoAnne Bockhorn and the late Nancy Jackson. Also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins and wonderful friends. Jerry was a US Navy WWII Veteran. He was a lifelong employee of Singer-Kearfott Aerospace where he worked as an engineer on numerous NASA and defense projects. Jerry was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing golf. 

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 4 - 8 PM will Military Honors at 6 PM at Brady's at the Station, 5 W Main St. Ramsey, NJ 07446.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Jerry to the Ramsey Ambulance Corps.
