Gloria E. (Mattes) DeStefano

Gloria DeStefano, a resident of Mahwah, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday, May 17, 2021 at the age of 80.  She was born on June 9, 1940 in Baltimore, Maryland.  She was raised in Cliffside Park, NJ and was a 1958 graduate of Cliffside Park High School.  Gloria married her high school sweetheart, Alphonse in 1961 and they later moved to Bergenfield, NJ where they started a family.  She is survived by her husband, Al and her children Tracy and Todd and 4 grandchildren, Katie, Ryan, Jenny, and Stephen.  She was preceded in death by her grandson, Andrew.  Gloria was active in the Catholic Church where she was a longtime Eucharistic Minister and before retiring, she was employed as the rectory office manager for St. Joseph Church in Oradell for over 30 years.
