Gregory Harrison Obituary

Gregory Arthur Harrison of Ramsey, New Jersey, passed away on June 15, 2026, at the age of 56, while in his happy place, Killington, Vermont.

Born on March 2, 1970, in Teaneck, New Jersey, Gregory was a proud New Jersey native. He graduated from St. Paul’s School in Ramsey, Don Bosco Preparatory High School, and Ramapo College before building a successful career in graphic design. A lifelong learner with a creative spirit, he also taught himself photography and videography, pursuits that brought him great fulfillment and allowed him to share his unique perspective with others.

Gregory developed a passion for skiing at the age of five, a love that remained with him throughout his life. As a proud member of the National Ski Patrol in Killington, Vermont, he found great joy on the slopes and treasured the many friendships and memories he made there. During the summer months, he cherished time spent at the beach in Lavallette, New Jersey, surrounded by family and lifelong friends.  Gregory had the pleasure of sharing these meaningful places as well as his devotion to the New York Yankees with his partner, Jen for the past 10 years.

An avid musician, Gregory was an accomplished pianist and self-taught guitarist. Whether he was listening to a favorite song, sharing memories from a concert, discussing a movie he had recently watched, or explaining the intricacies of a camera, Gregory found great joy in sharing his passions with others.  He had a remarkable gift for connecting with people and truly never met a stranger. He took immense pride in supporting his seven nieces and nephews and was a constant source of encouragement in their lives, loving them as if they were his own children.

Gregory was truly one of a kind, who overcame many obstacles throughout his life, and will be remembered for his positive outlook, generous heart, fierce loyalty, and deep love for family and friends. He was a devoted son, brother, partner, uncle, and friend whose presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Gregory is survived by his loving parents, Gregory Harrison and Carole (née Wagenseil) Harrison; his beloved partner, Jennifer Peterson; his siblings and best friends, Christen Gonchoroff, Catherine and Robb Bocchino, and Geoffrey and Kristi Harrison; and his adoring seven nieces and nephews; Tanner, Brooke, Hudson, Piper, Charles, Constance, and Harrison.

Visitation will be held at Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home in Ramsey, New Jersey, on Friday, June 19, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A private funeral mass will be held for the immediate family. A celebration of Gregory’s life will be held in Vermont at a later date.
