Janet Frances Delia, age 90, of Waldwick, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 30, 2024, after a life dedicated and devoted to her family.
Janet was born February 19, 1934, in Brooklyn, New York, (the sixteenth child of eighteen!) and was predeceased by her parents Ignatius and Rosaria Billeci.
Janet was the wife of the late Cono Delia and is survived by her two children Lorraine (John) Albano and Diane (Gary) Trotter, two grandchildren, Thomas (Kirsten) Albano and Brian (Jaime) Albano and two great grandchildren Hailey and Owen. She is also survived by her brothers Robert Billeci and Anthony Billeci and pre-deceased by many brothers and sisters.
Janet was very proud of being a court officer for the Bergen County Court System, advancing to the rank of Seargent. After retiring from law enforcement, she thoroughly cherished spending time with her husband, grandchildren, great grandchildren, friends and her “grand-puppies” Maple, Ethel, and Lucy.
In lieu of flowers, Janet’s family requests donations be made to the Tunnel-2-Towers foundation (T2T.org) and/or The St. Francis Inn (stfrancisinn.org or 2441 Kensington Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19125) in remembrance of her limitless generosity, patriotism and faith.
