Janine Marie Mistretta

Janine Marie Mistretta, of Waldwick, N.J., ( b.1959) passed away peacefully on May 7, 2022 in her home in Hawthorne, NJ. She was surrounded with family and friends. Her loving life partner Joseph DiNicola was by her side. Janine was a lover of music, art, animals, the beach, and family. As a graphic artist her work graced the Villadom Times pages for many years until its closing. A graduate of Waldwick High School, Janine was involved with the founding of the Waldwick Italian American Social Club. She is survived by her daughter Kristen Danielle Major, grandchildren Jack Sarmiento, Noah Mendoza and Lilianna Mendoza. Her sisters Andrea Mistretta Quaranta, Nancy Estell, brothers-in-law Perry Quaranta, Charles Estell, and nieces Allison Rose Estell, Nicole Estell. As her journey now takes Janine beyond the rainbow we will remember her and the joy of life she always sought.
