Janis H. (Hall) Santaite

Janis H. Santaite (nee Hall), 85, passed away on November 27, 2023 of Upper Saddle River formerly of Palisades Park. Beloved wife of the late Fred Santaite. Loving mother of Fred and wife Maryjane, Christine, Diane and Suzanne and husband Joseph. Cherished grandmother of Janis and husband Frankie, Kimberly and husband Derek, Fred III, Steven and wife Kayla, Rebecca, Sean, Ryan, Megan, Lindsey, Nicole, Anthony and Joseph. Adored great-grandmother of Frankie Jr. and Mackenna. Dear sister of the late Charlotte Carroll. Janis grew up in Leonia and spent most of her married life in Palisades Park where she raised her family before moving to Upper Saddle River with her husband Fred. 

Janis was a selfless person and always put everyone before herself. She was a very strong woman who never complained and always had a smile. Her witty daily contact with everyone will be missed. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 5 PM - 9 PM at Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey. Entombment will be private. 

Donations may be made in memory of Janis to Susan B. Komen or Alzheimer's Association.
