Joan M. Johannemann

Joan M. Johannemann, 89, on August 9, 2023 of Allendale, NJ formerly of Cliffiside Park, NJ. Beloved wife of Bernard for 74 years. Loving mother of James and wife Stacia, Joan and late husband Ronny, Kim and husband Joe and Keri and husband John. Cherished grandmother of Scott, Ben, Teri, Chad, Nicole, Joey, Billy, John, Frank, Alex and Emili. Adored great grandmother of Jules, James, Skylar, Ethan, Sam, Nash, Caleb, Joseph, Sophia, Jionni, Savina, Billy, Vincent, Shane and Ava. Dear sister of Lewis and wife Evelyn. Joan was a parishioner of Guardian Angel R.C. Church and served as a eucharistic minister and sang in the choir. She always enjoyed the birthday lunches with the church ladies. Joan retired from being a lunch lady in Cliffside Park. She was active in the PTA and was a Cub Scout den leader and Brownie Troop leader. She also earned her Coast Guard auxiliary status. Joan truly loved her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 PM - 8 PM at Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey, NJ. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 11, 2023 at 10 AM at Guardian Angel R.C. Church in Allendale, NJ. Entombment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah, NJ.
