Joanna “Jean” Camporeale “nee” Scoccimaro
Born and raised in Hoboken, NJ. Moved to Cliffside Park in the early 1950’s with her parents and sister. In 1956 she met and married the love of her life, Bartolo Camporeale. They remained in Cliffside 45 years before moving to Mahwah, NJ.
In her younger years she was a skilled seamstress on dresses and would use her skill to make amazing garments for her family. Later she became an Accounts Receivable Clerk for Swatek and Co. from where she retired in 1989.
Thru the years they enjoyed traveling especially to Italy, Australia, and cruising thru the Panama Canal along with many other places.
After retirement she enjoyed being a snowbird and traveling from NJ to their Florida Beach home. Her downtime was spent reading and working on needle point. However, her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her family. She loved cooking her “Big” authentic Italian meals and having everyone gather around her table. She will be greatly missed by so many.
She is survived by her 3 children Angela Tout, Joseph Camporeale and his wife Kelly, and Sandra Silecchia and her husband James. Her 4 grandchildren Robert Pucci and his wife Jennifer, Brianna Pucci, Ashley and Elisa Silecchia and her great granddaughter Celina Pucci.
