Johanna (Kurucz) Padluck

Johanna Padluck (nee Kurucz), 94, on September 4, 2021 of Mahwah, NJ. Born in Brezina, Slovakia. Beloved Mother of Diane and Robert Padluck. Cherished grandmother of Nicholas and Ross. Predeceased by her loving husband Daniel of 58 years. Also survived by two sisters Rosemary and Darryl and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a faithful parishioner of Church of the Presentation in Upper Saddle River, NJ where she participated in their Funeral Ministry and was on the holiday team at the soup kitchen in Harlem, NY that was supported by her church and run by the Missionaries of Charity. She was employed by the Mahwah Public School System as Administrative Assistant to the high school's Director of Athletics for 11 years. Johanna was known for her wide variety of  homemade Christmas cookies and her love of crocheting and the lost art of tatting. Her greatest accomplishment was role of mother. 

God has given us many stars to shine, many flowers to bloom, many friends to cherish, but only one mother to remember.
