John H. Bajor passed away on his own terms in his house in Florida on July 9, 2021. Born to John and Bertha Bajor on December 26, 1929 in Allendale, NJ. John was the second youngest of 8 growing up on the Bajor Celery Farm which also raised cows, chickens, rabbits and pigs. He served his country faithfully during the Korean War primarily stationed in Japan and later went on to have a successful career at Ford Motor Company in Mahwah, NJ for over 25 years until he and his wife Ruth retired to Port Charlotte, FL. He married his sweetheart Ruth (nee Northrop) in January 1956 who previously passed in January 1994. Both loved to travel around the United States, always saying there is still too much of our country to see instead of traveling abroad. John enjoyed the casinos traveling frequently to Las Vegas, Atlantic City and the Gulf Coast always looking for freebees and hitting the rare jackpot. He also was a member of multiple civic and fraternal organizations including the VFW, American Legion, Elks, Moose, Eagles, Odd Fellows and 40/8; again always looking who had the best lunch specials for the day. He is survived by his sister Anna (Bruggner) of Middlesex, NJ; sister-in-law Patricia (Binko) of Mahwah, NJ; his only son John (Hannah) and 2 grandsons (Kyle and Bryan) all of Cheshire, CT along with numerous nieces and nephews.
