John Melnick

John Melnick, 94, on July 18, 2024 of Mahwah. Beloved husband of the late Elsie Melnick.  Loving father of John W., Michael and wife Janet, Donald and wife Mary, Peter, Mary Kaye and husband Robert Pleyer, Thomas and wife Caryl. Cherished grandfather of Stephanie and husband Jeffrey, Stephen and wife Erika, Andrew, Daniel, Matthew, Rebecca, Holly and husband Tony. Adored great-grandfather of Asher and Miles. John loved animals, watching golf and was a big fan of anything chocolate. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024 from 9 AM – 11 AM at Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Avenue, Ramsey. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 22, 2024 at 11:45 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary R.C. Church in Mahwah. Interment will follow at Mahwah Cemetery in Mahwah.
