John D. Price

John D. Price, It is with deep sorrow and love that we mourn the peaceful passing of John D. Price of Nyack, NY at the age of 82 years on June 6, 2022. John was born in West New York, NJ as the youngest son of James and Mary Price (nee Nelson). He was a devoted father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. John graduated from Memorial High School, then enlisted in the United States Army at Fort Dix, NJ. He was incredibly proud to have served his country. After his time in the Army, John took his love and passion for finance into a professional career that landed him on Wall Street, then as a Finance Manager for General Motors. John is survived by his children, Jennifer and Peter Davis (husband), Michael Price, Christopher Price and Elizabeth Ganss (wife), and Jade-Lin Chue. He was blessed with seven grandchildren, Ian, Adam, Genevieve, Kaeleen, Nicolas, Griffin and Savannah; and two great-grandchildren, Lucy and Ellie that were the joys of his life. He was the beloved brother of Marilyn Martorelli (nee Price) and James Price. John was preceded in death by his father James and his mother Mary. John touched everyone’s life that he came across and made it a point to make those around him feel valued. He will be remembered for his kind heart and thoughtfulness to put the needs of others above his own. John will be deeply missed by so many.  A private memorial to commemorate John’s life will be held for family and close friends.
