John A. Spiech

John leaves behind his loving wife of 62 years, Patricia Walsh Spiech, his son John Spiech and wife Carolle, his daughter, Susan Watkins and her husband Mike and grandchildren Alex and Melissa Klatt and Jackie and Alex Eib, his daughter Holly Lanigan and her husband Danny and grandchildren Kaitlyn and Colin, his daughter Jill Spiech, deceased in 1980 and countless nieces, nephews and cousins.

John had an amazing, full life from a Navy serviceman to Boy Scout Master (Troop 258) to a career in the auto industry as former President of Ferrari of North America, former CEO and owner of Lotus Performance Cars and former CEO of Yugo America. 

John led a life of service as a volunteer firefighter of Mahwah Fire Company #2 for 64 years, a member of the Mahwah Elks, a member and president of Mahwah Council, a member of the Planning Board and library board and an active member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.

John will be remembered as a loving husband and father, hiking the AT trail, fishing, firefighter, travelling and his many years of serving the wonderful Township of Mahwah.
