Joseph S. Strangio on Saturday, March 20, 2021, loving husband and father of two children, passed away peacefully at Brandywine Living at the age of 92. Joe was born November 28, 1928, in Jersey City, New Jersey to Helen and Andrew Strangio. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1950 and proudly served his country during the Korean War. His work career spanned from 1947 to 1998 and took him all over the world. He retired three times, Continental Group, 4M Manufacturing and finally from the Nestle Group. He was truly a self-made man. He married his high school sweetheart Carmela Bucci in July of 1952 and they raised two children, Ellen, and Andrew ‘Drew” Strangio. Joe was quick witted and passionate about everything he did, he loved gardening his roses, volunteering for many organizations and cherished his time with his family. Joe was preceded in death by his father, Andrew, his mother, Helen, his brother Ronny, and his sister Lillian. He is survived by his wife Cam, his brother Anthony, his two children, Ellen, and husband Stavely, his son Drew and wife Maureen, his three grandchildren, Jess, Andrew, and Rebecca. Dear family friend Michael Thompson and numerous friends and family.
