Joseph Aloysius Szymanski

Joseph Aloysius Szymanski, 81, on March 14, 2022 of Mahwah formerly of Jersey City. He was a resident of Mahwah for 51 years. Beloved husband of Matty for 61 years. Loving father of Michael and wife Mary of Charlotte, NC, Brian of Mahwah and James and wife Elisabeth of Milford, PA. Cherished grandfather of Amry. Dear brother of the late Cynthia Kovacs. Beloved son of the late Joseph and Beatrice. Joseph served in the United States Army from 1957 to 1959, stationed in Germany.  He was a union electrician initiated into IBEW Local union 164 in 1964. Joseph liked to stay active. He also enjoyed traveling.

Memorial visitation will be held Monday, March 21, 2022 from 5 - 7 PM with a service being conducted at 7 PM at Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey.
