Kym A. Pierro

 Kym A. Pierro, 65, of Mahwah, New Jersey died peacefully on September 4, 2024 after a courageous and hard-fought battle with pancreatic cancer.  Kym grew up in Montvale and was a 1977 graduate of Pascack Hills High School. Kym was most recently employed as a receptionist at Otterstedt Insurance Agency in Englewood Cliffs. 

She is survived by her devoted mother, Arlene C. Pierro of Park Ridge, (pre-deceased by her father, Robert L. Pierro), loving brother Michael R. Pierro and his wife Lorraine, of Mahwah, cherished nieces and nephew, Jenna, Kara, and Mark Pierro. Also survived by her loving aunts and uncle, Cheryl Rosen of Park Ridge, Barbara & Nick Petrillo of Secaucus, along with several cousins and cherished friends. Kym’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks and gratitude for the loving care provided by Villa Marie Claire Hospice, Saddle River, as well as the staff at Valley Hospital, and in particular, Dr. Alexander Biener and Dr. Indu Sharma.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024 at Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Avenue, Ramsey, NJ from 4 - 7 PM.  A brief prayer service will be held at 5 PM.  Cremation was private.
