Leonardo Domingo Reyes, known to many family and friends as Nards or Lion Nards to his fellow Lion’s Club member, was born on January 16, 1937 in Quezon City, Philippines and went home to heaven with his creator on December 2, 2024.
He was a math wizard that earned him a degree in Engineering. His job as a Chemical Engineer gave him the opportunity to travel to many countries. He was a proud Lion’s Club member who held many different positions in the organization.
He was a man well loved for his intellect, love, and quick-wittedness. He always knew how to bring people together for a cherished moment, whether it be through his smooth baritone singing voice, his signature speeches, or through laughter with his hilarious jokes and puns. He was always ready to ponder and answer any inquiry, and the first to join in for a match of chess or anywhere fun and games were to be had. He raised his family faithfully as a man of God, praying without ceasing.
Nards joins his beloved Arsenia R. Reyes in heaven and leaves behind his daughter Cherrie, daughter Lannie Cabling and son-in-law Jun, daughter Ressie Lirag and son-in-law Manolito, son Ronnie and daughter-in-law Mylene, and daughter Crissa Reyes. He was a devoted LOLO (grandfather) to his grandchildren whom he deeply loved, namely Julian Paolo R. Cabling, Jeremie Francis R. Cabling, Emanuel R. Lirag, Aaron Angelo R. Lirag, Alexa Frances F. Reyes, Anne-Gabriella F. Reyes and Charlee Rylynn R. Readel.
