Lillian (Baruffaldi) Bariletti

Lillian (Baruffaldi) Bariletti, 90, of Ramsey, New Jersey, passed away on June 1st, 2022. 

Lillian was born November 29th, 1931 in Paterson, New Jersey. Shortly after she was born, she moved to Navazzo, Italy where she spent most of her childhood. She then married Fioravante Bariletti and moved back to New Jersey. After living in a few towns, Fioravante ended up building Lillian her dream home in Ramsey, as well as all of the other houses on the street; the street was named after Lillian in her honor. 

Lillian was a loving mother and grandmother, but she was known to most of the family as “Zia” or “Nonna.” She had a passion for cooking, gardening, her pets, and most of all, her family. One of her favorite family activities was making the polenta which accompanied the Bariletti/Baruffaldi traditional Northern Italian dish of spiedo. 

Left to cherish her memory is her brother Sergio Baruffaldi, her son, Valerio Bariletti, his wife Michele Bariletti, and her two granddaughters, Jessica Bariletti Scarpino, and Melissa Bariletti Gatto. 

There will be a viewing Monday, June 6, 2022 from 3-7 PM at the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home located at 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey, New Jersey, 07446. 

The graveside service will take place the following day on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Maryrest Cemetery located at 770 Darlington Ave, Mahwah, NJ, 07430. Valerio welcomes all funeral guests to join us for lunch after the service at Savini Restaurant located at 168 West Crescent Avenue Allendale, NJ  07401
