MILLICENT C. HAMMOND

HAMMOND, MILLICENT C. "MITZI", 93, of Ramsey, NJ formerly of Howard County, MD died peacefully on Thursday, June 13th, 2002. Beloved wife of the late Colonel J. Rogers Hammond (1969). Loving mother of John R. of Amarillo, TX, Sally H. Brown of Potomac, MD, J. David of Cave Creek, AZ and Edward D. of Winchester, MA. Devoted sister of Mary D. Clark of Columbia, MD, Desiree B. Clark of NY, NY, Dr. Charles B. Clark of Ellicott City, MD, and Betsey C. Caldwell of New Canaan, CT. She was also pre-deceased by six siblings, Louis, Henry, James, Marian, Nathan and Basil. Cherished grandmother of 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Mitzi was a former member and alter guild of St. John's Episcopal Church, Ramsey. She was an avid bridge player and lived in Ramsey for 72 years.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 15th at 1:00 PM at St. John's Episcopal Church, Ramsey. Cremation was private. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Ellicott City, MD at a later date.
