Obituary
Marie Claire Fodi (nee Skinner), age 89, passed away June 11, 2022. Marie spent most of her life in Upper Saddle River, NJ until recently moving to Union, KY to be closer to her son and grandchildren. She was a loving wife of 67 years, devoted mother, and beloved grandmother. She will always be remembered for her kindness, sense of humor, and effortless ability to make her friends and family feel truly loved and cared for. Preceded in death by her son Gary Fodi. Survived by her husband John Fodi Sr., son John Fodi Jr (Kathy), grandchildren John Ryan Fodi, Kristen Fodi Gillespie (Will), and Kaitlin Fodi Westmoreland (Keena), and great-grandchildren Vada Marie Gillespie, Iris Claire Westmoreland, Zoe Abigail Gillespie, and Ivy Marie Westmoreland. Siblings Celia Dimaria, Alfred Skinner, Elizabeth Preissler, and Edward Skinner and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 12 PM at Church of the Presentation in Upper Saddle River. Entombment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah.
