Mary T. (Enright) Drohan

Mary Drohan, 91, passed on October 18, 2024 in Bluffton, South Carolina. Mother of David P. Drohan (1957 – 1981), Jim and wife Cheryl of Kennett Square, PA, and Michael and wife Cindy of Norristown, PA. Beloved grandmother of Matthew, Megan, Kaitlyn, and Andrew. Sister of Patsy and the late Johnny, Tom, Peggy, Anne, Catherine, and Norine.

Mary was born and grew up in Brooklyn, NY. She married Dave Drohan in 1956. They resided in New Milford, NJ and subsequently in Ramsey, NJ. Mary and Dave divorced in the late 1970s. Mary held a long string of great jobs, and of no surprise to anyone who knew her, she worked virtually up to the day she peacefully passed away. Most recently she worked at Oldfield Club in Okatie, SC, where for 19 years she was a friendly, smiling face for the community residents and visitors, often with a joke at the ready. Oldfield Club is honoring her by naming the Greeter Store building where she worked after their beloved “Miss Mary”.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 9:30am – 10:30am at Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey, NJ 07446. A funeral service and interment will be held at 11:00am at Maryrest Cemetery.
