Mary Huelster, 68, of Waldwick NJ, formerly of Hillsborough NJ, originally from Midland Park NJ, went home on June 3rd, 2024 to the open arms of those that love her including her parents Eugene and Elizabeth Huelster, sisters Elizabeth Willis and Margaret Huelster, and brother Eugene Huelster Jr. She is survived by her beloved son Jason Huelster and her loving sisters Bernadette Kool and Patricia Huelster who absolutely adore her. She has countless cousins, nieces, and nephews that share childhood memories that are filled with love and laughter. Her devoted friends and partners in merriment, Barbara Jacobson and Cathy Wagner will forever hold Mary in their hearts. Mary is also survived by her caring companion and caregiver Stella. Mary will be stopping at the Rainbow Bridge to reunite with her beloved pets and will most certainly be granted “The Rescuers Final Reward” upon arrival. Mary attended The Church of Nativity in Midland Park, NJ, graduated from Paramus Catholic High School, and was later a parishioner of St. Francis Cabrini in Piscataway, NJ. She started her telecommunication career as a lineman with NJ Bell Telephone in the 70s and was one of the first women to do so. Mary could be spotted riding her purple Honda 350 motorcycle to and from work. She ended her career as a project manager for Avaya where she worked with people from all over the world. Arrangements were handled by Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home of Ramsey, NJ for a private green burial that took place on June 5th, 2024 at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah, NJ. It is hard to summarize a life as beautifully lived as hers. She was known for her infectious laugh. She loved nature, animals, and her friends and family with a kindness that only few can imagine. Her life was simply beautiful.
