Mary Anne Remia

Mary Anne Remia (nee Spagnolo), 61, of Ramsey, NJ, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2025. Born on August 22, 1963, in Queens, NY, Mary Anne was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and daughter. She is predeceased by her parents, Anthony Spagnolo and Marie Spagnolo (nee Cascio). She is survived by her brother Michael Spagnolo and his wife Wendy, and her sister Lisa Dupont and her husband Brad. Mary Anne was the beloved mother of her two children, Alexa and Angelo. She was the Aunt to Danielle, Nicole, Jaclyn, Matthew, and Andrew. Mary Anne remained resilient and courageous throughout her battle with Multiple Sclerosis, with her love for her family to give her strength. She had an unwavering smile, no matter how she was feeling. We will continue to hear her contagious laughter every moment we think about her. She will be profoundly missed by all, for to know her was to love her.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 - 7 PM at Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Avenue, Ramsey. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 1 PM at St. Paul R.C. Church in Ramsey. Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah.
