Michele Kepinski peacefully passed away on May 22, 2024 with her husband and daughter by her side. Born to Frances and Jeremi Kepinski on August 10, 1955, she was a strong willed and strong spirited woman up until the end.
Michele was a loved mother and is survived by her husband Paul and her daughter Allegra. In October 1984 she married the love of her life and was a dedicated wife for 39 years. It was a love that many can only hope for and between her and her husband, they created a loving and nurturing home for their daughter. Michele gave up her career to be a mother and put her entire self into that job, being a passionate and fiercely loving mother.
A former teacher for the underprivileged, severely handicapped and disabled in London, UK and then a music teacher, she carried all the skills and qualities necessary for those professions throughout her life. She was a constant teacher, a firm mother and wife but compassionate and loving to all.
She was an avid cook and passionate activist. Most nights she could be found cooking for her family - an important part of each day being sitting down to have a fresh cooked home meal together. Upon becoming a homemaker at her daughter's birth, she became an activist for those who did not have voices and would speak out on issues that she felt deserved attention.
She is predeceased by her parents Frances and Jeremi, but her memory and works of service will be kept alive by her husband and daughter.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Church of the Presentation in Upper Saddle River, NJ. Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah, NJ. Following, a celebration of life will occur at Paul & Allegra’s private residence.
