Nancy N. Danilchick of Suffern, NY was born to Anna nee Yapchanka and Nicholas Dupnak in Jersey City, NJ. Taking her education very seriously she graduated as Valedictorian and went on to attend Fordham University.
She worked many years in advertising. In 1956 she married Theodore Danilchick and they had three children. They relocated to Rockland County New York and joined St. John the Baptist Russian Orthodox Church in Spring Valley, NY. Where she sang in the church choir.
Later she worked for Empire State College in Nanuet, NY and SUNY Purchase in Purchase, NY until her retirement.
She is survived by her children, Robert of Suffern, NY, Lauren Etzel and her husband, William of Mahwah, NJ and Theodore, his wife, Lorelei, and grandchildren, Adelle and Theo of Killington VT. Sister Mary Wall of La Crescenta, CA and many nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her parents Nicholas and Anna Dupnak nee Yapchanka and her husband of 55 years, Theodore Danilchick.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025 from 4-8 PM at Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey, NJ. A funeral service (Panachida) will be celebrated on Friday, August 22, 2025 at 11 AM at St. John the Baptist Russian Orthodox Church, 64 W. Church Street, Spring Valley, NY. Interment will follow at Frederick Loescher Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 220 Brick Church Road, Spring Valley, NY.
