Patricia A. (Malatesta) Scheffler

Patricia Ann Scheffler (nee Malatesta), 86, passed away peacefully with family by her side on September 18, 2023, lived in Saddle River, NJ. Loving mother of Amy Carraher, Michael Scheffler and the late Arthur Scheffler. Cherished grandmother of Joshua, Ryan, Sarah and Brandon. Great-grandmother to Owen. Sister to Thomas Malatesta.

Patricia was a self-taught accomplished artist who painted nearly all her life.  Her work was Exhibited at Lincoln Center and museums throughout New Jersey.  Patricia was a published author for two leading art magazines.  An art teacher and a mentor, painting was her passion.  

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 22, 2023 from 4-7 PM at Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 10 AM at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 96 E. Allendale Road, Saddle River, NJ. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery in Englewood, NJ.
