Paul P. Parziale, 85, most recently of Mahwah, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on June 16, 2023.
Paul was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 30, 1937, to Frank and Olivia Parziale. He attended Brooklyn Tech High School and worked at Equitable Life Insurance for 35 years. He also served in the Air Force reserve for 8 years, being called to duty during the Cuban missile crisis in 1962.
He married Tina Perrotta in 1963 and moved to Kinnelon, NJ where they had one son, Paul. After retiring in 1992 he and Tina moved to Spring Hill, FL where they lived for 24 years before moving to Mahwah, NJ in 2017 to be close to their grandchildren.
He was an avid photographer and accomplished accordion player who was known for his love of music. Throughout his life he enjoyed jogging, bike riding, swimming, attending church, and his tropical fish.
Paul is predeceased by his parents and his sister, Mary. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Tina, his son Paul, daughter-in-law Carolyn, and his grandchildren, Paul Joseph and Nicolas. Paul is also survived by his niece, Frances and many great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins that he cared for deeply.
The family will greet friends on Friday, June 23, 2023 from 5 PM - 8 PM at Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Avenue, Ramsey, NJ. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 10 AM at Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, 47 Island Road, Mahwah, NJ.
